Meet Carla Epps Cross

Carla Epps Cross is a multi-passionate entrepreneur and accounting technician with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She has dedicated 37 years to building her accounting and financial services expertise. Carla is a shining example of a community servant, running several businesses, including B'Dazzled Ladies Boutique L.L.C. and C.E.C. Travels. Her latest venture, a mentoring group for women, will inspire and empower women to dream big.

 

Carla's unwavering commitment to serving her community has earned her numerous awards and accolades, including the A Hope for Tomorrow, Inc. Women of Praise Award and Black Brand's Community Service Black Diamond Award. Her initiative, the Black Onyx and Pink Pearl Social Club (B.O.P.P.), is a testament to her passion for empowering and providing resources to underserved and minority communities.

 

Despite all her success, Carla remains grounded and devoted to her family. She is a loving wife to her husband of 22 years, Chief Warrant Officer Derrick Cross, Sr., U.S.C.G. (Retired.), and a proud mother of their teenage son, Derrick Jr. Carla's dedication, passion, and resilience are truly inspiring, and she serves as a role model for anyone looking to make a positive impact in their community.
